Of Chances and Possible Regrets

Really, what are the chances?

Mind is racing with second guesses

But I'm not one to live on regrets

Drowning misery in alcohol and cigarettes

What's the worst that could happen?

Remorse is worse, I can only imagine

Maybe I'd win, maybe I'd fail

No use worrying over the smallest detail

Maybe, it'll provide me with a lesson I can learn

An experience through every twist and turn

Hoping I'll come out of it stronger and wiser

And the answers couldn't be any clearer

Take a deep breath and close your eyes

It'll all be over soon before you realise

Take a leap of faith, make that first step

Failing and learning is what we should accept
